In short: use Cyclorama for your own rides, ride within your limits, and know that the history is adapted from Wikipedia with care but without guarantees.
These terms are between you and [owner's full legal name], the developer of Cyclorama (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app you accept them. Contact: [email protected].
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Cyclorama on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. Don't copy, sell, or reverse-engineer the app beyond what the law allows, or use it to break the law. If you got Cyclorama from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; Google Play's terms apply to copies from Google Play.
Cyclorama is for exercise on an indoor bike. It is not medical advice. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise programme, especially if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, are pregnant or have not exercised for a while. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. Set up and use your bike and trainer as their makers instruct. Don't use the app on a bike on the road: it is designed for indoor riding only. You ride at your own risk, as the health note in the app (Settings › Health and safety) explains.
Cyclorama works with standard Bluetooth fitness sensors, but we can't promise it works with every device. Speed, distance, power and other figures come from your sensor and settings, such as your wheel size, and may be inaccurate. Don't rely on them for training or medical decisions.
The history in Cyclorama is adapted from Wikipedia and reviewed with care, but it may contain mistakes, simplifications or uncertain dates. It is not a substitute for scholarly sources. Some eras describe war, violence and atrocities; eras that do say so before you start. Please tell us about mistakes through “Report a problem”.
The history text is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0: you may reuse it under that licence, crediting Wikipedia and Cyclorama. The app itself, its design, code and name are ours and are not covered by that licence. Fonts and open-source software in the app are listed under their own licences in the app (Settings › About and sources).
Cyclorama is free at present. If we later offer purchases, such as longer routes, they are made through the App Store or Google Play, under their terms, including their refund rules. A purchase unlocks the content on the devices signed in to the same store account, and you can restore it there with “Restore purchases”.
We may update, change or stop parts of the app, and add or revise history content. We'll describe changes in the release notes. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app before the change applies.
We provide Cyclorama “as is”. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for injury or damage from how you ride or how your equipment works. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim there. We'd rather solve any problem directly: write to us first.
